Ipswich Central State School was founded in 1861 and is well and truly a part of Ipswich’s proud history. Today the school has over 700 students enrolled. These students come from many different suburbs of Ipswich and surrounding areas, often driving past other schools, in order to have their children attend Ipswich Central.
